The backbone of Chicagoland Sunday Baseball, the spring baseball season provides teams the opportunity to play additional games against other part-time travel teams around the Chicagoland area.
Participating part-time travel teams will have the ability to play against a higher level of competition at a fraction of the cost of travel baseball. It is also a great opportunity for teams and players to develop and build chemistry before playing in July travel tournaments.
We offer leagues for ages 7u-14u during the spring season and the cost is $200 per team without our Memorial Day Tournament or $600 per team with the Memorial Day Tournament.
The 2024 season will begin on Sunday April 14th and will be played through the weekend on Sunday June 16th. Teams will have the choice to play either a 9-game season and play in our Memorial Day tournament or play a 10-game season without playing in the tournament. Half of your games will be played at home and half of your scheduled games will be played on the road.
There are up-to-date standings during the season, but we do not host playoffs at the end of the year. Our reasoning behind not hosting playoffs is so we do not interfere with the playoffs of your house league programs. The team with the best record once the regular season is over will be declared the champions of the spring season.
Even though we do schedule 9-10 games for each team’s schedule, coaches do have the ability to pick up additional games against other teams not already on their schedule. Typically teams add around 2-4 extra pick-up games to their schedule, but there is no limit on the amount of extra games that your team can pick up. These additional pick-up games do not count toward the standings for the Spring season.
